COMCESS®UA220BD is a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer with a special functional group on a gel structure dedicated to uranium adsorption and separation. It is mainly used for the adsorption of uranium in uranium-containing solutions.
COMCESS®UA220BD resin is developed specifically for uranium extraction from ore for use in the in-situ leaching and slurry resin (RIP) process. The resin is resistant to high levels of silicon and iron in prepreg solutions (PLS). The uniform particle size of the resin reduces the loss of resin as it passes through the screen. The resin has an extra-large particle size to reduce pressure drop. The resin is ideal for handling high solids slurries. The resin has high selectivity and exchange capacity for uranium, and has excellent wear resistance, penetration resistance, good stability, easy regeneration, and long service life.
